Loreta Graužinienė, Speaker of the Seimas, congratulated Ene Ergma, President of the Riigigogu, and the Estonian Parliament under her leadership on the 96th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the Republic of Estonia.
“Let me take this opportunity to wish success and productive work to you and the Riigikogu headed by you as well as prosperity to your people,” says the Speaker.
While expressing her profound respect to the Estonian nation, the Speaker of the Seimas noted that legalisation of Estonia’s statehood on 24 February 1918 served as the basis for creation of the modern state of Estonia.
