Loreta Graužinienė, Speaker of the Seimas, met with Maryse Berniau, French Ambassador to Lithuania, ending her term of office in Lithuania.
“Lithuania enjoys good bilateral relations with France which is a strategic partner of Lithuania. We will continue to strengthen cooperation with France, in particular, at parliamentary and economic levels,” said the head of parliament.
Loreta Graužinienė, Speaker of the Seimas, thanked the diplomat for the efforts in and significant contribution to the development of the relations between Lithuania and France, as well as for active educational and cultural activities of the embassy in Lithuania. She expressed hope that, in future, with the arrival of a new ambassador, the ongoing work will be continued.
