Loreta Graužinienė, Speaker of the Seimas, sent condolences to Zhang Dejiang, Chairman of the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China, over the boat accident.
“On behalf of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania and my own, allow me to convey my heartfelt condolences to the close ones of the victims of the boat accident on the Yangtze River and your whole nation. The loss of each person affects dozens of people – family, relatives, friends, and colleagues –– and such catastrophes cause deep wounds to society,“ wrote the Speaker of the Seimas in her letter of condolence.
Loreta Graužinienė wished enormous strength and stamina to all close ones of the victims.
