Speaker of the Seimas extends her condolences to the United Kingdom that suffered most from the terrorist attack in Tunisia

Loreta Graužinienė, Speaker of the Seimas, extended her condolences to John Bercow, Speaker of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and Baroness DʼSouza, Lord Speaker of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. In her letter of condolences, the Speaker of the Seimas expresses her shock at the atrocious terrorist attack.

“On behalf of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania and on my own behalf, allow me to extend my sincere condolences to the people of your country and in particular to the families of the people killed and injured in the brutal terrorist attack in Tunisia. This murderous attack is yet another reminder to us all that we need to join forces to fight terrorism and radicalisation,” writes the Speaker of the Seimas in the letter of condolences.

The Speaker of the Seimas wished to the people of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland resilience at this sad hour.
