The Speaker named the priorities of international policy identified by the Parliament. The Eastern Partnership issues – support to the EU integration aspirations of Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia remain our key priorities. The Speaker of the Seimas noted that some countries had not yet ratified the association agreements.
“It is vital not only talk with the Parliaments of Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia but also work directly with the parliaments of the countries that have not yet ratified the associations agreements and search for possibilities to accelerate this process,” Mrs Graužinienė said.
The diplomats shared their observations and presented proposals how parliamentary diplomacy instruments could be more extensively exploited.
