“Today we have discussed the issue of refugees and other relevant matters pertaining to the complicated geopolitical situation. These matters are important to both Lithuania and Latvia. They are our common concerns. Only exchanges of views and experience will enable us to find the best solutions,” said Loreta Graužinienė.

“I am pleased that the Lithuanian and Latvian parliaments not only celebrate together the Day of Baltic Unity, but also work together in a constructive spirit. We have discussed a lot of important matters as well as the decisions we should take in connection with refugees,” said Ināra Mūrniece.

After the meeting, the leaders of the Lithuanian and Latvian parliaments had a guided tour of Rokiškis Manor House and signed the Guest Book.
