Loreta Graužinienė, Speaker of the Seimas, expressed sincere condolences on behalf of the Seimas and on her own behalf to Christine Defraigne, Chair of the Senate, and Siegfried Bracke, Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Kingdom of Belgium, over the bloody terrorist attacks against peaceful people in Brussels.
“We are deeply shocked by the absolutely unjustified deliberate atrocities that have claimed the lives of peaceful people. We strongly condemn the bloody terrorist acts. We grieve with you and the relatives of the victims in this sad hour and extend the wishes of strength to your people in this particularly difficult time,” says the condolence letter sent by the Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania.
