On behalf of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania and on her own behalf, Loreta Graužinienė, Speaker of the Seimas, expressed her condolences to Saleem Al-Jubouri, Speaker of the Council of Representatives of the Republic of Iraq, and the people of his country, particularly the families of those who were killed and injured in the cruel terrorist attack in Baghdad.
“We are deeply shocked by the cruel terrorist attack in Baghdad, which claimed many innocent victims. This bloody attack has reminded us once again that we have to join forces in the fight against terrorism and radicalism,” said the Speaker of the Seimas in her letter of condolence.
Mrs Graužinienė wished strength to the people of Iraq at this time of hardship.
