On behalf of the Seimas and on her own behalf, Loreta Graužinienė, Speaker of the Seimas, expressed her heartfelt condolences to the families and the close ones of the victims of the Russian airliner that crashed in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula as well as to the entire Russian nation.
“Every human loss affects dozens of closes ones, including families, friends and colleagues. Lithuania understands the scale of the tragedy and the pain of the bereavement,” the Speaker noted in the condolence letter to Sergei Naryshkin, Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
The Speaker of the Seimas wished peace and strength of mind to the relatives of the victims.
