On behalf of the Seimas and on her own behalf, Loreta Graužinienė, Speaker of the Seimas, congratulated the Marshal (Speaker) of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, and the Marshal (Speaker) of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, Bogdan Borusewicz, on the Polish National Independence Day.
The Speaker of the Lithuanian Parliament commended the close cooperation between the two countries at the regional, EU and NATO levels. She also noted that it was in Lithuania’s interest to further reinforce the partnership, mutual assistance, and joint efforts to create a single, secure and prosperous region.
“I am confident that the close cooperation between our Parliaments will continue and that this will further strengthen the ties between Lithuania and Poland, leading to further development of the dialogue between our countries,” Loreta Graužinienė said in her congratulatory letters.
The Speaker of the Seimas took the opportunity to wish prosperity and well-being to the Polish people.
