On 6–8 April 2014, the Conference of Speakers of European Union Parliaments will take place in the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania in Vilnius. Please see more here.

According to the Description of the Procedure of Accreditation of Media Representatives to the Office of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, special accreditation is needed for this event. Journalists without permanent accreditation in the buildings of the Seimas must submit electronic applications for accreditation by 1 April 2014. Applications can be filled in on the website of the parliamentary dimension of the Presidency at www.eu2013.lrs.lt.

No media accreditations for one day will be granted during the event. Only media representatives with permanent accreditation to the Seimas and those who submitted applications online and received new model certificates of accreditation will be allowed to work in the buildings of the Seimas.

Special certificates of accreditation will be issued in the lobby of Building 2 of the Seimas on Sunday, 6 April, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Monday, 7 April, from 8 a.m.
