A photo exhibition entitled Unseen Lithuania authoured by Marius Jovaiša will be presented at the glass passage joining building 2 and 3 of the Seimas during the Lithuanian Presidency of the Council from 1 July to 31 December 2013.

The photo album, Unseen Lithuania, is the biggest and most successful photo publication in Lithuania. Its author Marius Jovaiša has captured the most beautiful landscapes, objects, natural phenomena and conditions captured from above and bravely expanded the traditional boundaries of aerial photography. The book comprises over 250 high-quality large-scale photographs with descriptions, author’s comments and stories containing the details of the project. The most exquisite photos have been selected from almost twenty thousand shots. This is a bird’s eye view photo album that has no analogues in Lithuania.
Marius Jovaiša (born on 21 June 1973) is a photographer, author of documentary films and a traveller. In 2009, he was awarded with the Medal of the Order for Merits to Lithuania by the President of the Republic of Lithuania.

The album, Unseen Lithuania, has been published in 11 languages: Lithuanian, English, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Polish, French, Russian, Swedish and German. The anniversary edition Unseen Lithuania 2009 was released in 2009. An oak tree is planted in the Millenium Oak Forest of Unseen Lithuania for each book purchased.
