International G20 Youth Forum to be held in Germany

The G20 Youth Forum will take place in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany on 7–10 May 2014. It is organised by the G8 & G20 Alumni Association. The forum is the largest international event of non-governmental organisations for young leaders in 2014.

 

The G20 Forum will be introduced to a new platform aimed at promoting international exchanges and facilitating cooperation among parliaments, professors, universities and young leaders. The Forum will adopt the Communiqué which will be shared with international organisations such as the World Bank, OECD, European Commission and United Nations.

 

The conference is expected to bring together over 1,200 students, academics, businessmen and politicians. Vytautas Gapšys, member of the Seimas, will represent Lithuania this year.

 

The G8 & G20 Alumni Association is an international non-governmental organisation which reunites the alumni of the G8 & G20 Youth Summits and persons related to the activities of the organisation. Young leaders from more than 20 countries who are successfully building their careers in ministries, national parliaments, international and national organisations and companies are members of the G8 & G20 Alumni Association. Members of the G8 & G20 Alumni Association play a very important role in society today and their role is gaining significance.
