Loreta Graužinienė, Speaker of the Seimas, on
behalf of the Seimas and on her own behalf, offers sincere condolences to the
families and friends of those who perished in the Malaysia Airlines plane crash
and to the people of the country.
The letter of condolence reads as follows: This is an
appalling tragedy and loss for Malaysia and other countries, the citizens of
which were aboard the flight. Hundreds of people lost their relatives, mothers,
fathers, sisters, brothers and children. Every effort must be made to investigate into
the circumstances and the causes behind the incident as soon as possible.
Loreta Graužinienė, Speaker of the Seimas, says
that Lithuania joins the families and friends of those affected in the sad bereavement.
