Born on 22 July 1946 in Kaunas
In 1963-1965 - Worker at Kaunas Radio Plant. In 1970 - graduated from the Department of History-Philology of Vilnius University as a journalist. In 1969-1974 - correspondent of newspaper "Vakarinės naujienos." In 1974-1994 - editor at Lithuanian Television. In 1990 - publisher of magazine "Keturi ratai" ('Four Weels'). In 1994 - Head of TV broadcasts. Was elected to the Council of Vievis district, Trakai region. Awarded with 13 January Medal. Speaks English and Russian languages. Married. Wife Virginija. The family has two children: a daughter and a son. Member of the Seimas Delegation to the Assembly of Members of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania and the Sejm of the Republic of Poland Member of the Seimas Delegation to the Interparliamentary Union. Member of the Parliamentary Group for the Relations with Japan. Member of the Parliamentary Group for the Relations with Canada.
