In 1963-1965 - Worker at Kaunas Radio Plant.

In 1970 - graduated from the Department of History-Philology of Vilnius University as a journalist.

In 1969-1974 - correspondent of newspaper "Vakarinės naujienos."

In 1974-1994 - editor at Lithuanian Television.

In 1990 - publisher of magazine "Keturi ratai" ('Four Weels').

In 1994 - Head of TV broadcasts.

Was elected to the Council of Vievis district, Trakai region.

Awarded with 13 January Medal.

Speaks English and Russian languages.

Married. Wife Virginija. The family has two children: a daughter and a son.
