Biography
Born in Akmenė region, the village of Kanteikiai on 5 June 1954.
Finished Akmenė secondary school in 1971, attended Šiauliai polytechnic school. Graduated from Kaunas Polytechnic Institute (currently - Technological University) as a civil engineer. In 1971 worked at Akmenė Cement Plant. In 1974-1976 - at Šiauliai Television Plant. In 1976-1992 - an engineer of Akmenė Construction Materials Enterprice.In 1992-1993 - a consultant of Central Privatisation Commission of Akmenė region. In 1995 - a member of the Municipal Council of Akmenė region. In 1995-1996 - an elder of Venta in Akmenė region. A member of the Homeland Union (Lithuanian Conservatives). In 1993-1996 - Chairwoman of the Homeland Union (Lithuanian Conservatives) division of Akmenė region. A member of the Seimas Delegation to the Interparliamentary Union. A member of the Interparliamentary Relations Group of Lithuania and the Republic of Austria. A member of the Parliamentary Group for the Relations with the Czech Republic. A member of the Parliamentary Group for the Relations with Italy. A member of the Parliamentary Group for the Relations with Kuweit.
