Biography

Born in Vilnius, on May 24, 1960.

Finished Vilnius Secondary school No. 7 (currently Žirmūnai secondary school). Graduated from the Medical Department of Vilnius University, 1986. Worked as a neurologist at Vilnius Policlinics No.9. Was assistant to a Seimas member Rimantas Jonas Dagys.

Member of the Lithuanian Social Democratic Party since 1989.

Speaks English and Russian languages.

Married, has a son.

Member of the Seimas Delegation to the Interparliamentary Union

Member of the Parliamentary Group for the Relations with the USA.
