Work of journalists at the Seimas during the NATO PA Spring Session

During the Spring Session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly to be hosted by the Seimas on 27–30 May 2022, the usual procedure will apply to the work of media representatives with long-term accreditation and foreign journalists accredited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania. We kindly ask journalists to wear accreditation cards and have them visible at all times.

Please note that during the Plenary Sitting of the NATO PA in the Hall of the Act of 11 March, Building 1, on Monday, 30 May 2022, the media will have the opportunity to work in the Stained Glass Gallery close to the Hall. Access to the Hall of the Act of 11 March for media representatives will be denied.

The photos of the Session will be published on the Flickr account of the Seimas and will be free for use provided they bear the following indication of the source: Photo by Olga Posaškova or Džoja Gunda Barysaitė, Office of the Seimas. Live webcasting and video recordings will made available on the Seimas YouTube account Atviras Seimas (Open Seimas). For additional information or videos, please contact us by e-mail: [email protected].

IMPORTANT NOTICE for foreign media representatives who are not granted accreditation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania: please submit applications for one-day passes under the established procedure by e-mail [email protected] before 3 p.m. of 26 May 2022. In the application, please specify the date when a one-day pass is required for a media representative. One-day passes will be handed out at the Pass Office of Building 3 of the Seimas or the Security Post of Building 3 of the Seimas upon presentation of a valid ID.

Please note that, due to the large number of participants in the Session on Monday, we request all media representatives to enter the Seimas through Building 3.
