Speaker of the Seimas congratulates Luxembourg on its National Day

Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen, Speaker of the Seimas, congratulates, on behalf of the Seimas and on her own behalf, Fernand Etgen, President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and sends her wishes of every success in overcoming the current challenges and further building his country’s prosperity.

The Speaker of the Seimas also appreciates the partnership between the two countries.

‘I am pleased to note the development of cooperation between the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Republic of Lithuania in the European Union and NATO, as well as the active involvement of the parliamentarians of both countries in other international formats. We highly appreciate the solidarity between Lithuania and Luxembourg on reinforcing security and democratic values and the aspiration to ensure a secure future through concrete action,’ the congratulatory letter reads.
