Activities: research of burial monuments of the Aistian tribe of the 1st-11th century (since 1975). Recent publications: historical trilogy on Aisčiai (Aistians), which includes Kilmė (Origins) (2012), Raida (Evolution) (2014), and Lietuvių ir Lietuvos pradžia (Origins of Lithuanians and Lithuania) (2016); initiation and managing of drafting of digital textbooks: three editions of Gimtoji istorija (Native Land) (2002); trilogy on Įdomiosios Lietuvos istorijos (Interesting Stories of Lithuania), which includes Valstybė (The State), Menas (Art), and Visuomenė (Society) intended for general education schools in Lithuania
