The Speaker of the Seimas expressed his condolences over the events in Christchurch

Viktoras Pranckietis, Speaker of the Seimas, expressed his condolences on behalf of the Seimas and on his own behalf to the people in New Zealand over the terrorist attack in Christchurch.

‘The blood of innocent people cannot be shed to satisfy anybody’s ambitions. This is deplorable and inhumane. I wish perseverance to the families of the victims in this painful hour,’ the Speaker of the Seimas said.
