Seimas will hear the State of the Nation Address by the President of the Republic of Lithuania

At a plenary sitting of the Seimas at 10 a.m. on Thursday, 5 June 2025, Gitanas Nausėda, President of the Republic of Lithuania, will deliver the State of the Nation Address. This will be the first State of the Nation Address in his second term in office as President of the Republic.

As enshrined in Article 84 of the Constitution, the President makes annual reports at the Seimas on the situation in Lithuania and the domestic and foreign policies of the Republic of Lithuania.

As is traditional, the head of state delivers his or her State of the Nation Address during the spring session of the Seimas.

The President’s State of the Nation Address, with the interpretation into English, will be available for live streaming and listening on the Seimas YouTube channel.
