Work of media representatives during the events of the Spring Session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly

The Spring Session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (NATO PA) will be held in the buildings of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania from 29 May to 1 June 2026.

Under the established procedure, media representatives will be allowed to work at the Seimas and other events taking place within the framework of the Spring Session.

During the Spring Session, media representatives holding permanent accreditation at the Seimas or accreditation awarded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania will have access to the Seimas for work following the usual procedure. Media representatives are kindly requested to wear their accreditation badges and make them visible at all times.

Media representatives holding permanent accreditation at the Seimas are requested to inform us about their participation in the events of the Spring Session by filling in this form. Information relevant to media coverage during the Session will be sent by email to those who have filled out the form and provided their contact details. 

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR MEDIA REPRESENTATIVES WITHOUT PERMANENT ACCREDITATION AT THE SEIMAS

Media representatives wishing to work at the Spring Session must complete a dedicated accreditation form, which will be accessible from 15 May to 22 May 2026 until 5 p.m. (CEST)/ 6 p.m. (EEST).

Please note that one-day passes will not be issued on the days of the Spring Session and that it will not be possible to respond to the late or last-minute requests.

Media representatives without long-term accreditation at the Seimas will be permitted to work during the events only if they have registered in advance by completing the dedicated accreditation form.

We note that, under the Rules of Procedure of the NATO PA, dedicated accreditation badges will be issued only to media representatives from the countries whose delegations have been invited to attend the Session.

Please be aware that during the events media representatives will be identified on the basis of permanent accreditation or dedicated accreditation badges issued by the Seimas and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, as well as valid journalist licences bearing a photograph.

Dedicated accreditation badges will be available for collection at the registration desk at the entrance of Building 3 of the Seimas from 8 a.m on Saturday and Sunday, 30–31 May 2026, and on Monday, 1 June 2026.

The photos of the events will be published on the Flickr account of the Seimas and will be free for use provided they bear the indication of the source. Live webcasting and video recordings of plenaries and committee meetings will be accessible on the Seimas website and the Seimas YouTube account Open Seimas.
