President of the Republic to deliver the State of the Nation Address

On Thursday, 16 June 2022, at 10 a.m., Gitanas Nausėda, President of the Republic of Lithuania, will deliver his third State of the Nation Address at the Seimas sitting.

In his State of the Nation address, the Head of State will give an overview of the situation in Lithuania and of the domestic and foreign policy of the Republic of Lithuania, as set out in Article 84 of the Constitution.

Presidents of the Republic traditionally deliver their State of the Nation Address during the spring session of the Seimas.

The State of the Nation Address by the President will be broadcast live via the Seimas website, the TV channel Seimas Live and the Seimas YouTube and Facebook accounts.

It will be possible to observe the State of the Nation Address by the President with interpretation into English on the YouTube account of the Seimas. The State of the Nation Address will also be broadcast live by the Lithuanian National Broadcaster LRT TV and LRT radio.
