Seimas is set to hear the President’s annual State of the Nation Address

On Tuesday, 20 June 2023, at 10 a.m., Gitanas Nausėda, President of the Republic of Lithuania, will deliver his fourth State of the Nation Address at a Seimas sitting.

In his State of the Nation Address, the Head of State will give an overview of the situation in Lithuania and of the domestic and foreign policy of the Republic of Lithuania, as set out in Article 84 of the Constitution.

Presidents of the Republic of Lithuania traditionally deliver their State of the Nation Address during the spring session of the Seimas.

The State of the Nation Address with the interpretation into English will be broadcast live on the Seimas YouTube account.
