Seven Parliamentary Terms: Kęstutis Glaveckas and Emanuelis Zingeris, Signatories to the Act of Independence

The exhibition, specifically designed for the launch of the Visitor Centre of the Seimas, focuses on the signatories to the Act of Independence with the longest track record of parliamentary work spanning seven out of eight terms in office in the period of thirty years since the restoration of Lithuania’s Independence. Prof. Glaveckas is a long-standing member of the Committee on Budget and Finance, with a past experience of chairing and vice-chairing the Committee. Mr Zingeris has led the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Committee on Human Rights.

The exhibition covers a wide range of activities of the signatories with the greatest parliamentary experience. This includes, but is not limited to, their meetings with foreign delegations, work in committees and in the Plenary Chamber of the Seimas, various events, and discussions. The photo exhibition is a great opportunity to look at the track record of the two prominent figures on our political scene, with their activities spanning the period from the first days of the restoration of the democratic Lithuanian Parliament to the latest developments.
