In 1993–1997, following the restoration of the institution of the President of the Republic, the Office of the President of the Republic of Lithuania was temporarily seated in the western wing of Building 1 of the Seimas.

It is in this hall, named after the first President of the re-established state, Algirdas Mykolas Brazauskas, that the first ambassadors to Lithuania would present their letters of accreditation to the President.

The hall is decorated with Maloningoji (Gracious), an appliqué work by artist Regina Sipavičiūtė (1992).

The hall currently serves to host guest delegations of the Seimas and holds an exhibition of gifts received by President Brazauskas.
