The Interparliamentary EU Information Exchange (IPEX) facilitates inter-parliamentary exchange of information among national Parliaments regarding the EU issues. IPEX contains working documents of national Parliaments debated within the framework of preliminary scrutiny of the EU legislative process and EU-related information.

IPEX is a very important and integral element, which helps to ensure closer inter-parliamentary cooperation regarding EU matters, increase transparency and enable national parliaments to make their documents public.

Besides this IPEX platform provides a calendar of interparliamentary conferences and meetings, as well as information about national parliaments in the EU and the European Parliament. IPEX hosts the websites of many interparliamentary conferences that are arranged regularly.  IPEX is one of the major pillars of interparliamentary communication on European affairs, drawing together information from each of the national parliaments across the EU.
