Seimas Committee for the Future met with their counterparts from the Uruguayan Parliament

During its visit to the World Summit of the Committees of the Future 2022, the delegation of the Seimas Committee for the Future, headed by Prof. Raimundas Lopata, Committee Chair, met with the delegation of the Special Futures Committee of the General Assembly of Uruguay. During the meeting, the two delegations discussed the potential of their future cooperation. The Lithuanian Committee invited their counterparts to the parliamentary conference entitled The Future of the World to be held in Vilnius on 12–14 May 2023. The Uruguayan colleagues gladly accepted the invitation and offered their support in organizing the event. It was also agreed that the next Summit of the Committees for the Future would take place in Uruguay in October 2023.
