Seimas has cancelled all events for several months

Taking into account the declaration of a national emergency in the Republic of Lithuania and the recommendations of the Minister of Health acting as Head of National Emergency Operations, the Board of the Seimas has decided to cancel all indoor events in the Seimas until 30 April, including the Seimas events dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of Restoration of the Independence of Lithuania, and refrain from planning any new events for this period.

By the decision of the Board of the Seimas, the guided tours of the buildings of the Seimas planned until 30 April were also cancelled. Moreover, Members of the Seimas and the staff of the Office of the Seimas were advised against business travel. The Office was recommended to organise, as far as possible, remote work of its staff.
