Parliamentarians expressed their concern over the military clashes in Nagorno-Karabakh: “Peaceful settlement to the conflict is the only possible solution”

Guoda Burokienė, Head of the Seimas Group for Inter-Parliamentary Relations with the Republic of Armenia, expressed her deep concern, on behalf of the Group, over the military clashes that had erupted in the region of Nagorno-Karabakh in recent days.

“I call for putting an end to the armed confrontation, refraining from any actions that lead to increased tension, and taking immediate measures to prevent further escalation of the conflict. Both sides in the conflict should lay down their arms and settle the dispute by negotiation. Peaceful settlement to the conflict is the only possible solution“, reads the letter to Anush Begloian, Head of the Friendship Group Armenia–Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
