Changes in the procedure for the entry into the buildings of the Seimas as of 23 August 2021

As of Monday, 23 August 2021, in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, all visitors willing to access the buildings of the Seimas will be required to produce one of the following documents proving that a person has been vaccinated against, tested negative for, or has recovered from COVID-19. All persons entering the buildings of the Seimas will have to comply with at least one of the criteria indicated in the Decision of the Board of the Seimas. Entry will not be granted to persons unable to produce at least one of the aforementioned documents or refusing to do so.

 

DOCUMENTS PROVING THE COMPLIANCE WITH THE CRITERIA SET OUT IN THE DECISION

(An identity document may also be required):

1. A digital certificate generated on the basis of the data obtained from the Information System of Electronic Health Services and Collaboration Infrastructure (hereinafter referred to as the ESPBI IS) that is a proof of vaccination against or recovery from COVID-19or a negative PCR test, that is designed for domestic use and that contains a QR code. The certificate may be produced in a printed or a saved digital format or accessed directly via the ESPBI IS.

2. A National Certificate with a QR code, which can be furnished either in a printed or a saved digital form, or directly via the National Certificate portal.

3. A document certifying a child’s age (applicable to persons under 16).

4. The EU Digital COVID Certificate generated in accordance with requirements of the European Commission that is proof to the fact of vaccination against or recovery from COVID-19 in accordance with the criteria set out in the Resolution to facilitate free movement during the COVID-19 pandemic, or other non-EU digital certificate confirming vaccination against or recovery from the disease.

 

On entering the buildings of the Seimas, Members of the Seimas are recommended to produce the documents proving that they comply with at least one of the criteria set out in the Decision of the Board of the Seimas.
