Speaker of the Seimas congratulates the Dutch Parliament on National Day

On behalf of the Seimas and on her own behalf, Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen, Speaker of the Seimas, has congratulated the Dutch Parliament on King’s Day. In her letters to Prof. Dr Jan Anthonie Bruijn, President of the Senate, and Martin Bosma, Chairman of the House of Representatives, Ms Čmilytė-Nielsen extended her wishes of every success in building the future of the country. 

‘The Lithuanian public and the Parliament highly welcome the contribution of the Netherlands Armed Forces in strengthening NATO’s eastern flank. We enjoy our strong partnership with the Netherlands both in addressing security challenges and in developing the cooperation in the areas of business, culture, and science. I am convinced that the Lithuanian and the Dutch Parliaments will continue actively promoting the cooperation between our countries and strengthening the international unity based on democratic values,’ the congratulatory letters read.
