Speaker of the Seimas congratulated the Parliament of Azerbaijan on Republic Day

On behalf of the Seimas and on her own behalf, Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen, Speaker of the Seimas, congratulated Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and members of the Milli Majlis on Republic Day. The Speaker of the Seimas wished the Parliament of Azerbaijan concerted action, unity and success in its endeavours.

‘We appreciate the political relations and bilateral dialogue between Azerbaijan and Lithuania. Azerbaijan is one of Lithuania’s most important partners in the implementation of the EU Twinning Project.
