Speaker of the Seimas expresses his condolences over the death of the Mayor of Gdańsk

Viktoras Pranckietis, Speaker of the Seimas, expresses his deep condolences over the death of Paweł Adamowicz, Mayor of Gdańsk, Poland.

‘I sincerely feel for the family of Adamowicz and convey my wishes of endurance and perseverance to all the people of Poland at large and Gdansk in particular. Known as the city of birth of the Solidarity movement (Solidarność) and an overwhelmingly popular travel destination for Lithuanian tourists, Gdańsk is in mourning and grief today,’ says the Speaker of the Seimas.
