Speaker of the Seimas: the friendship between Lithuanian and Israeli people offers valuable future prospects

The Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania congratulated Yuli-Yoel Edelstein, Speaker of the Knesset of the State of Israel, and all the people of Israel on behalf of the Seimas and on his own behalf on the occasion of the Anniversary of Independence of the State of Israel.

‘Our close political cooperation and strong parliamentary relations between our countries stem from the historical link between our nations. The immediate friendship between the people of Lithuania and Israel offers valuable prospects for the future of our both countries. I am confident about our long-lasting cooperation targeted at creating wellbeing and harmony in our regions.
