Speaker of the Seimas congratulates the Republic of Azerbaijan on Republic Day

On behalf of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania and on her own behalf, Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen, Speaker of the Seimas, congratulated Sahiba Gafarova, Chair of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the people of the country on Republic Day.

‘May I wish you and the Parliament under your leadership focus, unity, and successful endeavours. Our countries are bound by friendly relations and cooperation in a variety of areas. It is important to ensure a more active dialogue between the Parliaments of Lithuania and Azerbaijan which would contribute to advancing our bilateral relations,’ the letter by the Speaker of the Seimas says.
