Speaker of the Seimas congratulates the Czech Republic on Independence Day

On behalf of the Seimas and on her own behalf, Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen, Speaker of the Seimas, congratulated Radek Vondráček, President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic, Miloš Vystrčil, President of the Senate of the Czech Republic, and the people of the country on Independence Day.

‘I hope that the coming year of cooperation between our parliaments and countries will continue to be marked by strong mutual trust. I am convinced that close contacts will open up even more opportunities for mutually beneficial dialogue. May your country enjoy unity, every success and prosperity,’ the congratulatory letter by the Speaker of the Seimas reads.
