Speaker of the Seimas congratulates Armenia on Independence Day

On behalf of the Seimas and on her own behalf, Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen, Speaker of the Seimas, congratulated the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and Alen Simonyan, President of the Assembly, on Independence Day.

‘It is my belief that Lithuania will remain a close partner of Armenia, a country willing to engage in a dialogue based on mutual understanding and respect in order to ensure our common interests and the development of mutually beneficial cooperation. I extend the wishes of inclusive prosperity, unity, stability and peace to you and the Armenian people,’ wrote Ms Čmilytė-Nielsen in her letter of congratulations.
