Speaker of the Seimas congratulates Luxembourg on National Day

Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen, Speaker of the Seimas, has congratulated the Chamber of Deputies of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg on National Day.

In her letter of congratulations to Fernand Etgen, President of the Chamber of Deputies, Ms Čmilytė-Nielsen also expresses Lithuania’s deep appreciation for the cooperation as well as close parliamentary ties between both countries.

‘I am convinced that the Parliaments of Lithuania and Luxembourg will continue to significantly contribute to strengthening solidarity based on the European democratic values while addressing current challenges for the sake of our countries and people,’ reads the letter of congratulations.
