Speaker of the Seimas congratulated Moldova on Independence Day

On behalf of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania and on his own behalf, Viktoras Pranckietis, Speaker of the Seimas, congratulated the Republic of Moldova and its people on Independence Day.

“I sincerely wish every success to the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova in implementing democratic principles in the Moldovan society and in meeting the country’s aspirations,” the letter of Mr Pranckietis reads.

The Speaker of the Seimas is convinced that the inter-parliamentary relations between the Republic of Lithuania and the Republic of Moldova will significantly contribute to the development of cooperation between the two countries.
