Constitution Hall

It is in the Constitution Hall that the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on the procedure for entry into force of the Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania was signed on 6 November 1992. Today, the Hall portrays the first general elections, the role of the Constituent Seimas as the foundation of the modern parliamentary tradition, and the nation’s struggle for freedom in January 1991.

On 25 October, Lithuania celebrates the Constitution Day to mark the adoption, by the will of the citizens, of the fundamental law of the country.
